The Presidential election is just weeks away. We have an opportunity to elect a President with a vision of a very different and better Ireland. This vision includes being a voice for collective bargaining, workers’ rights and access to affordable housing for workers.

‘Trade Unionists for Catherine Connolly’ is a group of trade unionists who are campaigning for Catherine to be our next President. We are urging all trade union members and activists to get involved and to vote for Catherine Connolly on 24th October. 

Throughout her political career, Connolly has been a powerful voice on behalf of social justice and the ideals of our Republic - namely "religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities to all its citizens" and a "resolve to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and of all its parts, cherishing all the children of the nation equally."
